A stunning antique English Boulle stationery box, a very impressive and showy. The box is of rich scarlet Tortoiseshell and inlaid with exquisite cut brass on all sides.

The box opens to reveal a fitted interior lined in blue taffeta silk, the quality of the box is highlighted on the inside with brass stringing having been inlaid to all of the edges.

Complete with a working key, it remains in excellent condition. 9" x 4 3/4" x 6 1/2" tall. A top-notch heirloom antique box for the discerning collector.
