Ritas Bazaar has dated this Meissen Marcolini Porcelain Saucer to the Georgian era.
The cavetto is enclosed by a distinctive blue ribbon-twist border enriched with gilding.
The underside bears the underglaze blue crossed swords with star, identifying the Marcolini period. The saucer belongs to the phase directed by Count Camillo Marcolini, who led the Meissen manufactory between 1774 and 1814 and introduced a more refined late 18th-century decorative style with balanced compositions and a greater use of white ground.
A well-preserved and elegant example of late 18th-century Meissen tableware, combining clarity of design with confident enamel painting.
