An antique ebonised music cabinet by Henry Ogden & Son of Manchester, dating to around 1880 and produced in the Aesthetic Movement style. The upper section is formed as a two-door cabinet with applied relief panels depicting stylised botanical motifs, framed with gilt highlights and set within a deeply moulded surround. Brass strap hinges and an inset lock plate reinforce the architectural quality of the front.
