Description

A nice old solid silver watch chain complete with two silver fob medals and an Albert-style dog clip clasp.

SIZE: Approximately 17 inches long end to end; the fobs are approx 3cm tall.

WEIGHT: 45.6g.

MATERIALS: 925 sterling silver.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: The curb links are all stamped with the lion passant denoting sterling silver, and the clip is stamped with the sponsor's mark S&S and the date letter 1924. One of the fob medals is hallmarked for sterling silver, Birmingham 1929, BLB, and the other has a Birmingham sterling silver mark with the letters WJD and RD303713, though the date letter is not legible.

CONDITION: Very good antique condition with normal minor surface wear for its age.

ERA: 1920s.
