An impressive pair of antique Edwardian inlaid mahogany single beds dating from circa 1905, complete with sprung metal bases. In beautifully figured mellow mahogany the footboard of bowed form with curved top rail. The headboard and footboard inlaid throughout with decorative marquetry inlay, the front panels with quartered veneers and central inlaid medallion. They stand on carved cabriole legs to the front and back. Features 2 headboards, 2 footboards and 2 sprung metal bases which screw into the Vono hitches on the frame. (no mattress included). Price is for the pair, i.e. 2 beds and 2 sprung metal bases.
