Rare Solid 14ct Gold Omega Tresor Bumper Automatic Two Tone Dial C1953

Description

Rare Omega solid 14ct gold Tresor gents wristwatch.

This is a very fine example of a gents classic wristwatch made by the world renowned premier Swiss maker Omega.

Solid 14ct Gold Bumper Automatic Tresor model reference 2709 with calibre 344 movement.

The diameter is 35mm excluding the crown

The movement is Omegas highly reliable calibre 344 fully automatic Bumper movement. An Omega "bumper" is a vintage Omega that has a "bumper" automatic movement rather than a full rotation rotor automatic. The oscillating weight makes a partial rotation before "bumping" into a cushioning spring. This is the earliest type of automatic movement.

The two tone dial with sub seconds is perfect having just been professionally restored

The case with devils horns lugs is in fabulous condition all we have done is a light polish. The case back has none of the case tool damage normally seen on watches from this period, its just perfect.

The Tresor models were Omegas top of the range dress watches Tresor meaning Treasure.

It has the Omega symbol on the winding crown.

As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case. It comes with a brand new high quality black leather strap but we can fit any colour or style you prefer.

Omega are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class.

Overall this watch is in outstanding condition and highly sought after by Omega collectors indeed it looks as if it was rarely worn.

The watch has been fully serviced and comes with a one year warranty.
