A refined 19th-century Swedish chest of drawers in birch, showcasing the warm, honeyed glow and lively grain pattern typical of Scandinavian birch from this period. The piece features three full-width drawers, each fitted with metal ring pulls and central escutcheons, arranged in the classic Swedish neoclassical manner.

The top has a slightly projecting edge, giving the silhouette a crisp architectural line, while the body sits on block feet that keep the form grounded and honest — very much in keeping with rural Gustavian influence. The birch veneer displays beautiful movement and depth, with book-matched figuring across the drawer fronts, working locks with original key.

Condition is excellent: a clean, even patina, minimal age-related wear, and no structural issues. A strong, authentic example of Swedish provincial craftsmanship, offering both decorative warmth and practical storage.
