A beautifully carved Chinese camphor wood blanket box, richly adorned with pierced brass mounts and traditional motifs. The front features three deeply carved panels, including a central circular medallion flanked by stylised characters. Additional pierced brass strapwork, shaped corner mounts and elegant carry handles, all secured with brass studs, enhance its decorative appeal. The interior is clean and complete with its removable tray, offering practical storage for extra blankets or pillows. The camphor wood has a warm tone and a lovely natural grain throughout.
