A Huge Painted Blue Antique Pine Genuine Victorian Hungarian Chest of Drawers

This chest of drawers is in good condition. It is a genuine Hungarian piece of furniture. We professionally restored it and then painted it in a lovely blue paint. We then rubbed over the edges and waxed it giving it a stunning appearance.

This chest of drawers would look well in a large property bedroom amongst similar antique pine furniture. It would also look great in a downstairs room. This is a large chest of drawers so please be aware if it is to go up your staircase that your staircase needs to be wide enough.

This chest stands on square back legs and round turned front bun feet supporting the main section. There are three large drawers. The drawers have their original round turned wooden knob and metal key escutcheons which is a nice feature. The drawers have dovetail joints and are pine lined. The sides have fluted columns and carved corbles . The drawers run smoothly. The top is in good condition with a rounded bull nosed edge.

The height is 109cm, the width is 133cm and the depth is 67cm.

Shipping /delivery is equally as important to us as the item of furniture itself. It is simple; we deliver everything personally in England / Wales so this way we are 100% sure that the item / furniture reaches our customers safe and sound. We NEVER use couriers. Delivery is generally within 7-14 days of purchase. We guarantee delivery anywhere in England / Wales within 21 days of purchase.

Deliveries to Scotland as far north as Perth are guaranteed within 6 weeks of purchase. If delivery is required above Perth in Scotland please contact James on 07957 392 074 or

Deliveries are either carried out by David or James as one member of the team is required to stay in the warehouse, therefore we do require assistance from the van into your hallway with the item of furniture. We have set delivery days and once the van is loaded (a day prior to delivery) David will call customers to arrange a two hour delivery time slot. Customers will also receive a text when delivery is 30 minutes away.

It is really helpful if customers can provide their ‘what3words’ location to make delivery as smooth

as possible, especially properties in rural locations.

Ireland Deliveries

We do use a very good courier company called DVM Service to deliver goods to Ireland. We ask the customer to pay this company direct for the delivery charge and we then liaise with DVM regarding collection of a customer’s item of furniture to be shipped to Ireland.

Europe & Rest of the World

We do not ship to Europe or the Rest of the World.
