This is a rare and interesting snuff box made in c1800 by maker FBS, it is in very good condition, two things make it very interesting , the makers mark is clearly struck twice FBS possibly Irish provincial as the box is typically Irish in design and decoration and the crest and motto for the Hamilton family of County Tyrone the Dukes of Abercorn. It is 85mm long and weighs 76 grams
