A Set of Fire Tools.

The Set of Early 19th century Steel and Brass Fire Tools, comprising a shovel, pair of tongs, and a poker.

The set, each with a brass reeded melon finial, before the spiral reeded handles, finished with a brass rounded and stepped collar.

The long shanks running to the heart shaped tongs, the square section tapered poker, and the bell shaped shovel, with raised sides, and a leaf pierced centre.

The steel in an attractive old school blued patination.

Height 30 inches, 77cm.

Width 6 inches, 15cm.

Depth 1 1/2 inches, 4cm.
