A fabulous quality Art Nouveau silver pendant with drop in the Archibald Knox manner, with mottled blue, turquoise and aqua green enameling of the finest quality, made c1900 by iconic Anglo-German makers Murrle Bennett & Co, who had a base in London’s Hatton Garden and supplied important retailers Liberty & Co. Marked with the maker’s mark and stamped ‘950’ for 950/1000 silver standard (sterling silver = 925/1000). On a 60cm well-matched chain marked ‘STERLING’ on the clasp.
Condition: In outstanding antique condition, with no damage, no repair, and no discernable wear, ready to wear.
