Pinefinders has dated this piece to the 1920s.
One particularly distinctive feature is the subtly tapered front, where the wardrobe projects slightly more in the centre than at the sides — a rare and eye-catching design detail.

The sides are also panelled, and it has a lovely shaped cornice at the top. Standing at 92" tall, it’s an exceptionally tall wardrobe, so ceiling height should be carefully checked — you’ll need a little extra clearance to allow for assembly.

Inside, it is currently empty, giving you full flexibility. Shelving or hanging rails can be fitted to suit your needs. Given the generous height, you could incorporate a shelf (or shelves) above a hanging rail to make the most of the space. There is evidence of previous shelving, so this can easily be reinstated if desired.

The internal depth varies slightly due to the shaped front — it measures 21" in the centre and 18.5" at the sides, which is still perfectly suitable for hanging coats and bulkier garments.
Please note: the drawer fronts at the bottom are dummy fronts and do not open.

The wardrobe fully dismantles for delivery, making access much easier. Delivery and assembly can usually be arranged, though assistance may be needed on-site due to the size — particularly when fitting the top section. Please contact us (with your postcode) for a delivery/assembly quote.

A rare and striking piece, unlike anything commonly found.
