Early Victorian Housekeeper's Cupboard

Description

Just arrived from Shropshire, this is a lovely example of a large solid pine Victorian housekeeper's cupboard. 

The top cupboard stands on six good drawers, providing masses of storage. Both cupboard doors lock using the original key.

(We also have a newly made spare key, just in case)!

The whole piece stands on six matching feet.

The cupboard has been lightly refurbished on the exterior - taken back to the original white paint, then waxed.

Matt charcoal black pinstripes have been added to enhance the piece, matching the drawer handles and feet.

Additional dimension information in cm: full height 224, width of base 154, width of cupboard 149, width of cornice 165.

Depth of base 53.5, depth of cupboard 51, depth of cornice 59.

Leg height 14.5.  Internal shelf heights approx 22.
