Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The shade of white opaque is finished in a pale graduating pink and is finely etched with a delicate floral pattern. The shade is a later replacement but this does not detract from the beauty of the lamp at all.
It measures 26 " high and 8 " across
It has been professionally restored with the brass being bright and crisp whilst retaining the patina which you would expect, it is also extremely heavy.
It is in full working order and both the shade and chimney are in perfect condition.
A genuine Victorian oil lamp in the classic and elegant design which would look stunning in a period home.
