Elmgarden has dated this Carved Oak Court Cupboard to the 17th Century.
This is an old and charming piece of carved oak furniture, the top section has a single cupboard enclosed by 1 carved panelled door, on either side of this there is a carved panel these are carved with the tree of life and birds, this theme is repeated in several of the panels

The lower section has a long drawer over a long shelved cupboard with side shelves and very similar carved panels This is a very old piece which is reflected in its condition, it has has a few dings and dents and historic woodworm damage, there are minor old repairs but a very unusual and attractive piece
The cupboard is an attractive small or cottage size 53” high, 44” wide and 21” deep
