A very fine quality Victorian hand enamelled large silver locket A stunning example silver Victorian locket all hand enamelled in robins egg blue, with engraved flowers, buds and leaves all set with 22 natural good luster seed pearls, tests 850 silver, dates 1880s, still has original frames with glass windows in silver gilt interior. the enamel in excellent condition, no repairs, chips or cracks, The locket opens and closes with a firm click, fantastic perfect condition, looks to of only of been worn very little, possibly only on Sundays as was normal in Victorian days, weight is a heavy 32.53 grams Length 51mm (with bale) x 31mm, Super looker and quality locket, the bale enamel also perfect and has good movement, seldome seen in this condition, perfect for wear on any chain or ribbon, Comes in a luxury box.
