Keshi pearls are among the most prized of all pearl varieties — formed entirely without a nucleus, they consist of 100% pure nacre, which gives them an unrivalled depth of lustre and a captivating iridescent orient. These particular pearls display a truly breathtaking play of colour: shimmering silver-white, soft rose-pink and pale lavender shift and dance with every movement, a phenomenon produced solely by the extraordinary thickness of the nacre layers.
The necklace measures 47 cm in length and is secured with a beautifully crafted 18-carat gold (750) oval filigree box clasp, decorated with an elegant open-work floral and leaf motif.
As is entirely natural and expected with organic keshi pearls — which form freely within the mollusc without human intervention — two pearls carry small natural surface cavities and two others display minor nacre protuberances. These are characteristic growth features of genuine nucleus-free pearls and in no way diminish the beauty or wearability of the necklace. They are fully disclosed and clearly visible in the photographs.
