The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
Rather incongruously, on either side under the handles are painted a pair of very English style vignettes of fruit and flowers. Chamberlain Worcester mark to the underside. c.1846-1848.

It measures 4.2cm (1 5/8") high, 6.3cm (2 1/2") wide and 10.2cm (4") across the handles.
In good display condition: one handle has been restored and the other has a neat repair. There is some very good quality restoration to both pierced panels. Two small losses to the surface covering of this work to the lowest row. Minor handling wear.
