Arundel Clocks has dated this French Brass Carriage Clock to the 1890s.
I have for sale a 1890 French porcelain panel carriage clock made in France, which was fully serviced around 2 months ago.

The Case
The case is in solid engraved brass and stands 15cm high x 8.5cm wide with a depth of 7cm. The serves panels are just stunning.
The Dial
The dial is in original condition. Where do I start, stunning hand-painted dial with Roman numerals and the original moon hands.

The dial and both panels are in mint condition, with no loss or cracks.
The Movement
The movement is an eight-day time and strike so strikes the hours and the half hour via the gong to the rear, the movement has been serviced and oiled so keeping great time over the eight days and is signed by Margiane with his beehive motif on the bottom left.

Overall, a very rare, stunning quality carriage clock by a quality French maker that looks great on display and contains all of its original features. This is quite a rare find these days.
