Negretti & Zambra Pocket Forecaster Boxed & Instructions Antique Barometer

This is for a nice, clean example of a Negretti and Zambra Pocket Forecaster, a barometer and weather forecaster made from celluloid and dating to the early 1900s. It has a Patent No. 6276/15, and it consists of 3 rotating disks for setting Wind direction, Barometric pressure and Direction of barometric changes. Once you have set your readings, it will give you a letter or letters to refer to on the reverse of the disc. It''s a really clever little piece, and it comes complete with its original box advertising Negretti and Zambra on the lid, and it has instructions. It is in absolute excellent condition with no damage to it anywhere, and it measures 5.5cm in diameter (2'').
