The beautiful piece portrays a snow-capped woodland with a small stream running through the centre.
The tall birch-style trees are lit by the fabulous sun rays that are rising over the entire scene.
The work is signed/titled in the lower left corner 'Sevonowski'.
It is mounted within the original gesso moulded gilt frame that retains the remnants of the original presentation plaque.
The painting is offered in excellent original condition.
The original frame has had areas of repair to the fragile gesso moulding, although it is in keeping with a frame that is over 100 years old.
