William Manners RBA 1869-1930.Yorkshire artist who painted in oil and watercolour.He lived in Otley before moving to the Lake District where many of his paintings were painted.Elected a Member of the Royal Society of British Artists.Exhibited mainly at RBA but also at the RA.His moonlit scenes are amongst the most sought after example of his works. ‘Moonlit Street Scene’ signed watercolour, image size 19.5x30 cms,framed size 50x58 cms.Beautifully presented in a period style frame with double wash lined mount.
