Late C19th/ early C20th Italian Venetian cut and etched glass framed mirror with a ruby red border.
 
Decorative Venetian-style mirror with a central arch-top bevelled edge mirror plate , surrounded by a border of ruby red glass detailing and applied cut and etched glass elements . The top surmounted by a tall decorative crest with corresponding red motif to the centre.
 
In good original condition with some atmospheric degradation to the glass edges and border . One minor decorative element missing to the bottom rhs . The verso fitted with the original solid backboard and a hanging chain .
 
A statement mirror of larger scale and proportions, with great presence and style in the flamboyant tradition of Venetian glass-making .
