A superb silver bladed letter opener or page turner, from the reign of William IV. This superior example has a carved agate handle, with a rolled terminal. The blade is beautifully engraved and fully hallmarked, with detailing that extends to the ferrule. There are traces of original gilding to the blade. A magnificent piece and a great gift idea. Condition :- Excellent, with no dents, splits or breaks. There is loss to the original gilding on the blade and a few minor scuffs , commensurate with age and use.
