An Antique late Victorian chaise longue raised on turned legs with original castors. The piece features a deep buttoned back and scroll arm with a traditionally shaped upholstered seat. Recently reupholstered in a high quality paisley patterned fabric in warm golden tones with green and cream decoration. A comfortable and decorative piece.

CONDITION REPORT:

The chaise is structurally solid and in good overall condition. The upholstery appears to have been done relatively recently and remains very clean and well presented.. There is age related wear to the turned legs including scuffs and scratches consistent with use. The castors run smoothly and function well. Overall a lovely example. Our experienced carpenter thoroughly inspects, repairs, and restores each item in our collection to ensure it is fully prepared for use in your home.
