Description

A Fine Quality Victorian Period Burr Walnut Wellington Chest. Having a walnut veneered rectangular top above an arrangement of six graduating mahogany lined drawers with burr walnut veneered drawer front and circular brass handles. Flanked by twin burr walnut veneered pilasters with ormolu mounts and an unusual hinged locking mechanism retaining the original lock and key. Having walnut veneered sides and raised on a walnut veneered plinth. English circa 1860-1870

Dimensions: 48" high x 22" wide x 15" deep
