A fine Victorian mahogany reading table, raised upon a platform base with turned feet and original brass castors. The central support is formed as a faceted column terminating in a turned socle.

The rectangular top is fitted with pop-up reading rests with brass fittings, designed to support books or folios. The table benefits from a fully adjustable height mechanism, allowing it to rise and fall, along with an adjustable reading angle.
