A fine quality work depicting a Venetian backwater, palazzo with ornate windows, gondolier in the foreground and a distant view of the Campanili.

Lovely colours, obviously painted from life, capturing the magic of this beautiful city.

Oil painted on canvas, presented within its original glazed ebonized frame which bears small losses. Canvas by Leech Brothers. Small crack to glass lower left. Oil paintings do not need to be glazed, removing the glass from this painting would further reveal the beautiful detailing and colours.
