The exterior displays beautifully figured veneers with deep movement and warmth, complemented by original brass escutcheons.The interior opens to reveal a traditional leather writing surface with decorative gilt tooling, forming a practical angled writing area. Above sits a fitted compartment with divisions for stationery, pens and accessories, along with a period glass inkwell.
