A fine antique Victorian English wheel barometer by G & L Guanziroli of Hatton Garden London, housed in a beautifully figured walnut case with an elegant scroll-shaped top and base.The silvered dial is finely engraved with a central starburst and traditional weather indicators including Rain Change and Fair, along with Stormy Set Fair and Very Dry. The original blued steel hand remains in place giving a crisp and decorative appearance.Above the thermometer is set within a glazed panel allowing temperature to be read alongside atmospheric pressure.
