Kingsdown Antiques has dated this Blush Ivory Shell Dish to the 1900s.
The rim is gently undulating and picked out with fine gilt, giving the piece a lifted, elegant outline.

Hand-painted floral sprays in pinks, blues, and greens are placed within the shell’s interior for a light, refined effect. A small shell-like knop and sculptural shell feet create a raised display form rather than a flat serving plate. Marked for Royal Worcester, dated 1900.

The shell form gives this piece a naturally theatrical presence even before you notice the painting.
