Lovely American Sterling Silver Pierced Butter Dish With Glass Liner – Circa 1920

A Lovely American Sterling Silver Pierced Butter Dish with a removable opaque glass liner. The silver frame is circular with a pierced lattice gallery in a repeating diamond pattern. A smooth rolled rim finishes the top edge and gives a clean outline to the design. The piece stands on four small ball feet, lifting it slightly for a more formal table presentation. Marked ‘Sterling’ – circa 1920.
 
* The removable glass liner keeps it practical for daily use while retaining a proper silver look.
