A beautiful rare solid silver Indian cigarette or card case. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1890 almost certainly made in Kutch. It has been beautifully hand made being embossed and chased with scrolls and flowers. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, vibrantly gilded inside. It measures approx. 4 inches (10.2cm) long by over 3 inches (7.8cm) wide and weighs 112 grams. A superbly designed beautiful example.
