Description

Very decorative late 19th century English ebonised and burr walnut inlaid breakfront display cabinet or bookcase with box wood stringing and original glass, circa 1880.

The black lacquered finish contrasts so well with the burr walnut and also the original brass mount details too.

The interior is fully lined with a vintage blue brushed velvet, the fixed shelves also finished with further box wood string inlays to their front edge.

Super quality bookcase or credenza, great for display, bookcase or perhaps as a drinks cabinet.
