Founders Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The table is raised on slender turned and reeded legs terminating in tapering feet with brass caps and united by curved stretchers centred by a small platform with applied brass rosette mount.

The ingenious swivel and folding mechanism allows the table to remain particularly compact when closed yet open to a generous playing surface suitable for cards or entertaining.
Very good antique condition with some surface wear consistent with age, including light wear to the original baize playing surface. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
English, circa 1880.
