A charming pair of beds, perfect for children’s, spare or guest rooms. Can be joined to make an occasional super-king-sized bed. We can supply Zip and Link mattresses for this purpose.

Very nice shaping in the panels, with a lovely floral central casting and further foliate or leaf like castings. All in good condition.

Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned and tested for durability. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in Atelier Ellis’ Fallen Plumb, very lightly distressed, waxed over to protect and give a soft sheen. All joints checked for secure fit.

Victorian iron bedsteads are metal bed frames produced in the nineteenth century, characterised by wrought iron framing and cast iron joinery. Designed as a hygienic alternative to wooden frames, they often feature geometric lattice work, turned spindles, or decorative cast corner rosettes.
