A substantial and highly attractive French farmhouse table in solid cherrywood, dating to circa 1880. Of generous proportions, this piece combines rustic charm with practical functionality, making it ideal as a kitchen or dining table.

The well-figured cherrywood top is formed from wide planks, displaying a warm honeyed tone and beautiful natural grain, enhanced by years of use and careful maintenance.

Raised on sturdy square tapering legs, the table offers excellent stability and a clean, understated silhouette typical of provincial French furniture. A particularly desirable feature is the original pull-out bread slide, neatly concealed beneath the top and providing additional surface space when required.
