A gorgeous Victorian jade heart pendant with a pretty rosy gold flower-motif bail.

The surface of the jade is smooth and polished; the stone is a beautiful dark green colour with a slightly translucent quality and when held up to the light shows veining within.

SIZE: The heart measures 2.4cm wide x 2.8cm high and the total drop including the bail is 3.6cm.

WEIGHT: 5.4g.

MATERIALS: Nine-carat (375) gold, jade.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: None (tests as nine-carat gold).

CONDITION: In excellent antique condition, no chips or cracks, just light overall surface wear.

ERA: Estimated Victorian (c.1890s).
