Old Sheffield Plated Basket Bowl with Crest by Holy & Parker C1804

Description

This beautiful basket is made of Old Sheffield Plate and marked to the base for maker Dan Holy & Parker with their distinctive Pineapple mark. The basket shows no signs of ever having had a handle and is crested to the interior for a bird. Dating to c1804, the bowl is of a wonderful fluted design.

In good condition with only slight surface wear / copper bleed and some very small knock to base pedestal.

Weight approx 410g.
