Antique Cast Iron Coat Stand Hall Stand

Description

P0306 Very stylish English Victorian cast iron hall stand / coat stand in the manner of Christopher Dresser, having elaborate pierced decoration with flowers, scrolls, leaf motifs and five coat hooks to the top. The base having a rounded umbrella holder with acanthus leaf embellishment behind and shaped columns with reeded and foliage shaped capitols, all terminating in removable drip tray. This antique coat stand retains its antique character showing some signs of usage. No cracks, breaks or old repairs. Splits in to two sections. All in home ready condition. c1880
