Antique Mahogany Barrister's Gown and Wig Hanger

Description

A good example of a mahogany hanger dating from the late 19th Century, used by Barristers to hang their gowns and wigs. It is a good quality piece with elegant turnings and a brass hook.

It is in good condition with no major damages and a lovely patina. It has been lightly cleaned and is certainly a usable piece as well as a lovely decorative object.
