This is a super antique Edwardian hallmarked sterling silver butter dish in the original presentation case.
The dish itself measures 5'' (13 cms) across including the handles x 3 1/2'' (9 cms) across and the spreader is 4 3/4'' (12 cms) long.
The two items weigh 73.8 grams / 2.3 troy oz the pair and both are in excellent condition.
The dish is hallmarked for London 1903 and the spreader is London 1902 both with the silversmiths mark for George Jackson & D avid Fullerton - the inside of the case shows the retailers mark for ''Winsor Bishop, Goldsmith & Silversmith, London St, Norwich''
