Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Art Deco perfume bottle design emerged in the 1920s and 1930s, characterised by angular geometric shapes, strong colour contrast, and functional form. Manufacturers combined cut crystal or blown glass with enamelled detailing, acid-etched patterns, and fitted metal mounts.

Craftsmen primarily utilised lead crystal or glass decorated with cold enamel, acid etching, and hand cutting. Neck mounts and collars were typically fashioned from sterling silver, silver plate, or chrome-plated brass.

Authentic interwar glass exhibits precise hand-cut facets, geometric enamelling, and expected shelf wear to the underside of the base. Acid-etched hallmarks, silver stampings, and heavy lead crystal construction help distinguish period items from reproductions.

Small glass accessories function effectively as accents on dressing tables, bathroom countertops, or tray displays. Grouping geometric objects together creates visual interest that complements modern and contemporary interior schemes.

Glass items with enamel decoration should be dusted using a soft, dry lint-free cloth. Immersion in water should be avoided, and abrasive chemical cleaners must not be used on enamelled surfaces or metal mounts.
