A Pretty Antique / Old Pine Genuine Hungarian Waxed 3 Drawer Chest of Drawers

This chest of drawers is in good condition. It has been superbly restored in Hungary and then waxed it in a lovely antique brown bri wax giving it a stunning patina.

This chest of drawers would look well in a large property bedroom amongst similar antique pine furniture. It is very heavy so I will require a hand off the van with it. These Hungarian chests are very large so please be aware your staircase needs to be wide enough to get it upstairs and to be able to maneuver it on the landing.

This chest stands on square back legs and round turned front bun feet supporting the main section. There are three large drawers. The drawers have a pretty moulding around the edge and ceramic handles. The drawers have dovetail joints and are pine lined. There are carved motifs to the top. The top is in good condition with a bull nosed edge.

The height is 110cm, the width is 132cm and the depth is 63cm. The internal measurements of the drawers are - the height is 25cm, the width is 106cm and the depth is 49cm.

Delivery is generally within 7-14 days of purchase. We guarantee delivery anywhere in England / Wales within 21 days of purchase.

Deliveries are either carried out by David or James as one member of the team is required to stay in the warehouse, therefore we do require assistance from the van into your hallway with the item of furniture. We have set delivery days and once the van is loaded (a day prior to delivery) David will call customers to arrange a two hour delivery time slot. Customers will also receive a text when delivery is 30 minutes away.

It is really helpful if customers can provide their ‘what3words’ location to make delivery as smooth

as possible, especially properties in rural locations.

Ireland Deliveries

We do use a very good courier company called DVM Service to deliver goods to Ireland. We ask the customer to pay this company direct for the delivery charge and we then liaise with DVM regarding collection of a customer’s item of furniture to be shipped to Ireland.

Europe & Rest of the World

We do not ship to Europe or the Rest of the World.
