LTANTIQUES.CO.UK has dated this Camphor Campaign Secretaire Chest to the 1860s.

The upper section opens to reveal a fitted secrétaire interior, complete with an arrangement of pigeonholes and small drawers, centered around a new hand-dyed green leather writing surface.
The chest retains brass campaign handles, working locks, and key.

Presented in good original condition, this piece is likely of Anglo-Asian origin, possibly Hong Kong, and is a superb example of functional campaign furniture from the period.
