Gillers Antiques Ltd has dated this Royal Worcester Blush Ivory Teapot to the Victorian era.

Light floral sprays are arranged across the surface including chrysanthemum blossoms. This flower became particularly fashionable in European decorative arts during the chrysanthemum craze of the late nineteenth century.

The teapot is of rounded globular form with domed lid and compact proportions. The cup is gently tapering and the saucer remains simple and balanced in design.
On the base appears the puce Royal Worcester factory mark together with pattern number 4158. The teapot is dated 1894, while the cup and saucer are dated 1893.
