with a swan neck pediment to the mahogany case. A central brass finial. Choice flame mahogany veneers to the case with an ebonised banding. A silvered scale to the thermometer box, hygrometer, main dial and level. A brass bezel with convex glass. Signed to the level 'G Copini 217 High St. Shoreditch' (London) who is recorded as working 1832-1841.
