Antique Edwardian Mahogany Washstand

An attractive Edwardian antique mahogany washstand, having a shaped tiled back with decorative green Art Nouveau style tiles above a marble top. The base features a long drawer with satinwood style banding, a cupboard door below, and an open undertier shelf, all raised on elegant square tapering legs with castors. The washstand also retains a copper towel rail to one side, with the opposing rail now removed. A decorative and practical piece suitable for a bathroom, bedroom or hallway.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with signs of age and use. The marble top and tiled back are clean and in good order. One copper towel rail remains present, while the opposing rail has been removed. There are minor age-related surface marks to the wood as expected. Overall a solid and well-presenting piece.
