An Antique Porcelain Bodkin Holder Painted With Figures 19th Century - Poss Meissen

A fine quality 19th century porcelain bodkin holder - poss Meissen. It is decorated with figures and woodland scenes. One of the unusual parts of this lovely piece is the small pink hand paintings on the top and bottom of the holder (see images). The top fits into the brass closure very smoothly and there is no damage or cracks to the piece. It measures 16cm high.
